A Frightful Hobgoblin Stalks Throughout Britain
Posted on February 3, 2009
There is a pall of barely suppressed xenophobic hysteria hanging over Britain.
Disgusting scum and MP for Birkenhead, Frank Field, has published an article in Rothermere’s rag, warning that the party of which he is (unaccountably) a member faces electoral ‘wipe-out’ unless it gets a ‘real grip on its immigration policy’ and calling for the government to ‘protect our borders’. If Labour, or any other party, needs to become the BNP to retain government, then it is better off in opposition. The Labour Party should expel Field, but it won’t. Field, the co-chair of the so-called ‘Balanced Migration’ group warns of a right-wing backlash, while fuelling the fires of reaction himself.
The Mail and Express and the rest of the degenerate far-right gutter press lap it up, with hysterical headlines proclaiming ‘the great white backlash’, and yards of badly researched¹, racist propaganda, with a few crocodile tears about the BNP for the sake of appearances. The Daily Mail is portraying the ‘British Jobs for British Workers’ nationalist campaign as a fight against Labour ‘totalitarianism’, comparing it to the struggle of the Polish union Solidarity — no irony there — in the 1980s. Utter madness.
¹ The Mail thinks The Condition of the Working Class in England was written by Karl Marx.
