Dungavel ‘Reform’

Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy has announced a scheme to end the detention of children at Dungavel Immigration Removal Centre in South Lanarkshire.
Under the £150,000 project, failed asylum seekers awaiting deportation would be housed in former council houses in Glasgow before being sent back to their country of origin.
No end to adult detention, removals, or continuing cowardice in the face of the right wing narrative in which migrants are at the root of the current economic crisis.
